Doctor Targett is the best doctor i have ever been seen by. His attitude towards patients is second to none, he genuinely listens and cares for his patients which is so refreshing to see. I will not see another doctor than Dr Targett no matter how long the wait is to see him. No problem, worry, query or concern is too small and he really makes you feel at ease and gives you a genuine relief no matter what the diagnosis may be. I have recommended all of my family members who use portcullis to request Dr Targett as i have been so impressed by his care of me. After having been dismissed for many years of an illness I finally had a diagnosis and treatment because Dr Targett listened and believed me and treated me like an adult and a human being. He will talk you through diagnosis as well as any further treatment ideas or who you may be referred to and answer any questions you may have no matter how many there are. He makes sure to follow up with his patients care and to see how they are getting on with medication as well as their well being. I genuinely cannot praise Dr Targett enough, and portcullis should really be thankful that he practices there. He is the crown jewel of the surgery and to lose him would not only be a massive loss to the surgery but also the community. I cannot thank him enough for the care and support I have received from him and continue to receive. I do hope that this review is read and shared with Dr Targett so that he knows how he is such an important and integral part of the health care system in Ludlow and the impact he has made on the residents of Ludlow.

Today I needed an urgent appointment to discuss a worrying problem. Dr Targett kindly fitted me in to see him. Dr Targett spent time to talk and explain the next step, I never felt rushed and was made to feel totally at ease. When I came out of my appointment I felt a lot happier and reassured. Dr Chris Targett is the best Doctor I have had the pleasure to meet. I am grateful to be one of his patients.

I have found Dr. Targett to be proactive and helpful in achieving a diagnosis at a difficult time. He has listened carefully, and involved me in achieving a treatment plan which made sense. I really appreciate the treatment that I have received and I am very satisfied with Dr Targett as my G.P.

Dr Targett listened to my concerns about my 19 week old daughter and was absolutely fantastic with me and her. I thought I might have been over reacting but he reassured me I was not and prescribed my daughter something to help her breathing. Dr Targett also told me if I had any more concerns how ever slight to come straight back. An absolute amazing doctor who I will be asking to see again if myself or my children are ill again.
